The first impressions was reminiscent of approaching a government employee at the end of their shift, cold, unpleasant and a feeling of wanting to get the experience over with. I did not feel the GM' s apology sincere but obligatory. I had to convince the front desk clerk to approach the desk from about a few feet behind it. She would not initially engage in conversion even after I would ask questions regarding my stay. I would not stay there again.

The hotel itself was nice. Rooms and common areas were clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was not convenient to I-10/12. It is about 8 miles from 1-10/12, and you must drive through a very run down part of town on pot-hole laden roads. The hotel is in a questionable part of town as well. In addition, we had to wait about 5-10 minutes at the front desk for the clerk to appear.

This hotel was fresh, spacious, and conveniently located. The staff, from front desk to room service, was friendly and helpful. Junior suite room was very comfortable and included ammenities like mini fridge and flat-panel TV. The in-room coffee maker was not clean, though. And, being next to the airport, you hear early morning departures, but not too loudly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, especially with shuttle service to the airport.
